  1. Wow, what GREAT photos!

    I'm guessing that fawn is a female--as I recall, with males you can see two marks/bumps on the forehead where the antlers will eventually come in. Even tho it's kind of a side shot, I think they would be visible in that photo, if it were a male.

    These photos make my yard that I'm looking out at, with its goldfinch at the feeder, seem so very very tame.
